[8] 1 - Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) & Concealed Carry License (CCL) Requirements

Any person found to be in possession of a firearm without a valid Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card or Concealed Carry License (CCL), where applicable, shall be in violation of this code.

Any person under the age of 21 found to be in possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card issued with parental consent shall be in violation of this code.

Any person carrying a concealed firearm without a valid Concealed Carry License (CCL) shall be in violation of this code.

Law enforcement & Security officers are exempt from this code.

Open carry of firearms is not legal in the State of San Andreas. Any person found openly carrying a firearm in public shall be in violation of this code. More information about open carry can be found in Definitions
